I use mediahuman.com as an app to record music from YouTube to download into my desktop Apple/Mac iTunes account. The download for your operating system will give you an icon on your desktop to drag the selected and highlighted URL from Youtube to the icon. The song will then be recorded. Then you can drag that recording into iTunes, edit it there if you want, then click and play.
